KEYNOTE SUBJECT: MORE JOY: EVOLVING DIGITAL EXCELLENCE IN ELITE EDUCATION
What if the most valuable thing an elite school can offer in the age of AI is the one thing that can't be automated?
This is not just a talk about AI. It is a broader provocation about what independent schools should be optimising for as digital innovation reshapes work, knowledge, relationships and the expectations placed on education.
The central question is profound: in an era increasingly focused on speed, automation, measurement and efficiency, how do schools make sure innovation makes education more human?
This keynote from digital expert Laura Knight explores the relational advantage that sits at the heart of great independent schools, and makes the case for an evolving definition of "elite": one grounded not only in outcomes and opportunity, but in judgement, curiosity, character, belonging, meaningful relationships and human flourishing.
